Austrian painter and graphic artist Heliane Wiesauer-Reiterer (Salzburg 1948) dedicates her work to the existential. Her painting is located between abstraction and representationalism, whereby the artist does not refer to classical compositions in a conventional sense. Instead, landscape impressions and human figures become the artist's emotional reference with the help of color and light. In recent works, the artist focuses on the reduction of color and form, black, gray, blue and white tones dominate, the ductus is delicate, the artist skillfully plays with the impression of lightness and heaviness.
