Bianca Regl's work is characterized by an interplay between figuration and abstraction, between movement and stillness, and her compositions contain a strong, vivid materiality. Her figurative paintings are characterized by a distinctive, sketchy style and an avoidance of superfluous detail, focusing on the unique and mysterious in everyday life. In this regard, the fascination of her work lies in the sketchy and unfinished.
