The Carinthian artist Willibald Lassenberger (Klagenfurt 1952-2017 Carinthia) was a member of the Kunstwerkstatt de La Tour in Treffen near Villach. The Kunstwerkstatt de La Tour is one of the oldest studios in Austria where visually talented and creative people with special needs can develop and establish themselves as artists. Lassenberger created mostly outlined, symmetrical art works in expressionist ductus. In 1998 he was awarded the Decoration of Honor of the Province of Carinthia for his artistic work.
