Tyrolean artist Turi Werkner (Innsbruck 1948) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and is engaged in painting, drawing and book art. Werkner works with a wide variety of techniques on found books and creates collages consisting of magazines, photographs and a wide variety of paper pages, which he supplements with drawings and puns. The works are cataloged by numbers and are also given unusual book titles.
